Yuvapatha – Knowledge and Youth Experience Centre

Established during the pre-independent era as a News Reading Centre, Yuvaka Sangha expanded its wings in the field of education after India’s independence from colonial rule. Since then, the organisation has been taking pride in providing equal opportunities to underprivileged and necessitous students through various educational initiatives.

With a robust student-academician forum, Yuvaka Sangha has inspired enlightened and motivated lakhs of students and has become the ‘most sought-after’ centre for Secondary School and College Students. Many eminent leaders, such as Acharya Vinobha Bhave, Shri. Shri. S. NIjalingappa, Shri. Kengal Hanumanthaiah, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Shri. V. V. Giri, Shri. Jai Prakash Narayan, Shri V.K. Krishna Menon, Smt. Indira Gandhi and many others have made their visit to the organisation and have inspired the youth.

Founder :

Freedom fighter and Gandhian V. Annaiah, born in 1930 in Bangalore, founded the Yuvaka Sangha in 1944 with V.S. Krishna lyer. Inspired by Gandhiji, he and his family wore khadi, a tradition he maintained throughout his life. After completing his intermediate studies, Annaiah joined the freedom struggle, driven by deep patriotism. He participated in the liberation movement and Gandhiji’s nation-building efforts. Annaiah’s life choices were inspirational, focusing on public service. His legacy is marked by unwavering dedication to public service and lifelong adherence to Gandhian principles.

Facilities :

Yuvapatha, a beacon of youth empowerment and knowledge resonance, is located in the pristine Yuvaka Sangha building in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Constructed on the occasion of the silver jubilee of Yuvaka Sangha’s 75th anniversary, this 65,000 sq ft facility boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including an Auditorium, seminar hall, art gallery, AV room, library, educational and counseling center, sports and yoga center, board room, and theatre rehearsal space. Already serving as a career and capacity building center for today’s generation of students and youth, Yuvapatha attracts over 500 young individuals daily, providing them with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
