Our Journey

The Firefly, designed by Ekarth Studio, is driven by a vision to unlock the untapped potential of bamboo in India, where its use in construction is largely limited to huts. By combining engineered bamboo with traditional craftsmanship, we aim to harmonize sustainability with modern aesthetics. Our mission is to move beyond concrete and steel, adopting eco-friendly construction methods that offer nature-inspired experiences without compromising the comfort of contemporary living. Through this, we seek to push the boundaries of bamboo as a material, redefining its misconception as “poor man’s timber”.
