Mythic Society Library
The library, which is the main part of the organization, started with the donation of books from the Reverend Tabard’s personal collection. Due to the interest and enthusiasm of the then Resident Sir Hugh Daly, the building and publications of the Central Government and other provincial governments were added to the library. The Mysore Secretariat Library was added to the organization’s library. Patna Raghavendra Rao, Sir Hugh Daly, Diwan T. Ananda Rao, Resident H. V. Cub, K. V. Ramaswamy Iyengar etc. have contributed to the growth of the library’s collection by donating their collected books.

Initially, financial donations started coming to the library from many quarters and gradually it started collecting reference books and periodicals related to Indology, History, Philosophy, Religion, Art & Architecture, Humanities. It is a member institution of the Royal Asiatic Society, Calcutta, and the journals published there, research journals and books were collected from other institutions. At present, on the advice of scholars, researchers, and subject experts of the institution, necessary reference books and periodicals are being brought to the library, and books that come in the form of donations are being added. The rare books and periodicals in the library are being digitized and the work is in progress.
