Established in 2002, Kalakriti Art Gallery is a leading art space in Hyderabad, committed to showcasing a diverse range of artistic practices from South Asia, from established modern masters, post-independence pioneers, and emerging contemporary artists.
Spanning 4,500 square feet, the gallery is renowned for its groundbreaking exhibitions, featuring established artists such as Jogen Chowdhury, Thota Vaikuntam, Orijit Sen, Avijit Dutta, and Vinita Karim, while also championing contemporary talents like Anupama Alias, Ekta Singha, Priyanka Aelay, and Raka Panda. Kalakriti has also introduced international artists to Hyderabad for the first time. The gallery’s commitment extends beyond exhibitions to promoting scholarship and intellectual engagement through talks, workshops, film screenings, and publications, in collaboration with prominent cultural institutions and universities across the country.
