Since Bapu’s arrival on the soil of Champaran, the relevance of his ideas has only grown with social changes. The unique structure of Bapu Tower, shaped like an inverted cone, symbolizes the expanding significance of Bapu’s thoughts. Bapu Tower features an exterior surface of about 50,000 square feet adorned with 40 tons of copper, making it possibly the first extensive use of this kind in the country. While Western countries have previously utilized copper tones, this application reinforces Gandhiji’s principles of environmental responsibility.
