Art has always been the soul of my being—woven into the smallest moments of life, whether creating a school project, designing a festive Rangoli, or plating a meal with intention. Though I spent 20 years in the IT industry, art remained my silent companion, patiently waiting until I could give it my full voice. A decade ago, I finally embraced my true calling and have been immersed in my artistic journey ever since.

I began with oil painting, drawn to its richness and versatility. Over time, my curiosity led me to explore a wide range of mediums including acrylics, watercolor, gouache, charcoal, dry pastels, and colored pencils. I also express myself through sculpture, clay modeling, and stone art. Across all these mediums, one element remains central—color. Bold and vibrant hues are the heartbeat of my work, translating emotion into form and energy into experience.

Nature is my constant muse—its beauty, rhythm, and unpredictability deeply influence my creative process. My early works focused on realism, portraying landscapes and life forms with precision and reverence. Today, I find myself increasingly drawn to conceptual and abstract styles that allow me to explore deeper emotional and spiritual narratives. These newer works invite the viewer into a shared space of interpretation, feeling, and introspection.

A turning point in my journey came when I met Ashis Pahi, an international curator and founder of the Emerging Indian Artists Mentorship Program by Kalanirvana International Art Center. Under his three-year mentorship, I transformed from a self-taught painter into an artist with purpose and vision.

Ashis Pahi introduced me to the philosophy that “Art is not for beauty, but to communicate”—a principle that forever changed my practice. Through guided training in theory, concept development, and visual storytelling, I gained a deeper understanding of how art can influence lives, address societal issues, and spark dialogue.

This mentorship not only refined my technique but also ignited a sense of responsibility—to create art that matters. Today, I proudly stand on the global stage with clarity, direction, and artistic integrity, ready to contribute meaningfully to the world of contemporary art.

As an artist, I see myself as a storyteller, a translator of emotions, and a humble vessel of creativity. My mission is simple: to bring beauty, reflection, and connection into the lives of others through art. Whether through the fine details of realism or the freedom of abstraction, my goal is to create pieces that resonate, inspire, and endure.

Recently I moved to Calgary, Canada and joined the Calgary Sketch and Painting Club, Canada as a Active Member.

My art has been exhibited in India, Italy, and Canada, and is now part of private collections in the UK, US, Canada, Dubai, and India. Each exhibition and connection with a viewer affirms my belief that art is a universal language—one that transcends words and borders.
