Mugdha Kakade Claimed

Hi, I am Mugdha, a self-taught artist, born and raised in New Delhi, India. I did my BSc (Honours) in Physics, from St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and Masters In Information Technology, again from the University of Delhi.

I am now based in the bustling, beautiful and historical city of Pune in Maharashtra, India.

After having worked as a Software Professional for more than a decade, I took a break from my career owing to family commitments. When one door is closed, another opens. Using the time at hand, I once again turned to my pet childhood hobby, ART.

Art has indeed become my passion and my lifeline. Daily art practice is my stressbuster. I started experimenting with various media, surfaces and art forms. Started off with soft pastels, color pencils and charcoal – the dry media. Gradually, moved on to watercolors, gouache, acrylics and inks. I dabble in chalk paints and markers of many types too. My core area of interest now is exploring Conceptual and Abstract art.
